Apex Analysis, Inc. was involved with several aspects of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) Backplane. Design and Analysis of the primary backplane structure which included laminate design, material property allowable testing, detailed structural analysis, structure design and testing. Configuration, design and analysis of the Backplane Stability Test Article (BSTA). Thermal distortion testing to cryogenic temperatures of both BSTA and the flight Backplane.
